Let me tell you about my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning. I placed an order for glasses on February 24th, paying $246.00, and it's now April 1st, and I've still not received them. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. They have my hard-earned money! The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia, and all I can get are bot responses telling me it's "in transit." I want my money back, GlassesUSA, and I felt compelled to contact customer service and leave this review to get a real resolution and warn others to stay away.
Customer: I need to know what's going on with my order #105081183. I placed it on February 24th, it's April 1st, and it's stuck in Atlanta. I paid $246 for glasses I never received, and GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund! CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for this frustrating experience, ma'am. I see your order tracking hasn't updated and a refund was initiated on April 1st. I understand your concern about the delay. Customer: Concern? This is unacceptable! I was told 7-10 business days after already having to fight for it by filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office. You have my hard-earned money and I have nothing. When will I actually see my $246 back in my account? CS Rep: I completely understand your impatience, and I assure you we are working to process all refunds as swiftly as possible. I will personally follow up on your refund status and put in a request for expedited processing. You should receive an email update within 24 hours.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
